where did 2021 go

  • Entanglement: we’re in copy edits! And the cover is pretty much finalised. It makes the book look so much cooler than it actually is XD can’t wait to share it.
  • Writing: still picking away at the old things.
  • Reading: Terry Pratchett at the moment, as well as fanfiction (as per usual).
  • Watching: I finished watching Squid Game. It’s apparently the most-watched series on Netflix to date and I can see why. I wouldn’t say I super enjoyed it, but I was hooked, entertained, and appropriately horrified. It’s this generation’s Battle Royale and Hunger Games. If you’re into survival horror, it’s a pretty decent installment in that genre. I loved the commentary on capitalism, and judging by its reception, so did others.
I also finished BoJack Horseman. Amazing final episodes. Really confronting and an excellent wrap-up. I didn’t expect a show about hybrid animal people to question the nature of humanity so well XD
  • Music: I fell in love with Stevie Nicks all over again and binged Rooms on Fire. Years & Years has released more new music.
